2013 Newberry Buck Pole
Here are a few photographs I snapped at the Newberry American Legion Post 74 Community Buck Pole. When I left the gathering on Friday around 7:15 p.m. there were 17 bucks on the pole.

2013 Newberry Christmas Lights
Taffy the golden retriever welcomes the 2013 Newberry Christmas lights; that's her you hear barking in the background of the video (link below).
Newberry Water and Light lineman Joe Lively, in bucket, village Department of Public Works employees Debra Major and Dan Puckett, with beard, along with part-time employee Jerry Overland get the job done on a sunny, 45-degree November day.
Thanks to all of you. We love the Christmas lights.
For those of you who do not know, the green house in the background is our humble abode, which we share with Pepper, Peanut, Stormy, Pickles, Penelope, Peter, Olivia and a who carload of tropical fish! God is good!
